Development of the Idaho Mountain Freeride Series

The Idaho Mountain Freeride Series emerged in 2011 as an expansion of the old Payette River Series, which now includes additional locations throughout Central and Southern Idaho. IMFS events include Slopestyle, Rail Jam and Skier/Boarder Cross. Points awarded to competitors at our sanctioned events earn many of our riders invitations to USASA Nationals slated to be held at Copper Mountain, CO in April

IMFS is successful due to the hard work of our athletes, support of it's members, and the local community.

Our History

Idaho Snow Sports Association was incorporated in March 2010.

Formed under the believe that the entire athlete needs to be addressed in order to develop a successful highly competitive athlete. The ISSA organization was created to fill a gap that had existed in our geographic area in training freestyle skiers. The overriding goal is for each athlete to continually improve their skill level and if they choose to compete do so at the highest level possible.

Today ISSA continues to build and grow competitive athletes in multiple regions of southern Idaho.
