- ISSA has complied three training options that are tailored with the ability level of the Freestyle Skier. The two categories of skiers we train are the Beginner/Development and the Advanced/ Expert. The training critique focuses on perfecting the Rails and Slope style.
- In addition to the training, there are USASA/ USSA competitions that are held within the Idaho Mountain Freeride Region and outside our region. Coaching is provided at all local USASA and USSA events as well as USASA Nationals and Select USSA events. Coaching is provided, at the listed events, for athletes in any of our training option levels.
- ISSA is a proud supporter of the USASA Idaho Mountain Series. These USASA comeptitions are held at Bogus Basin, Brundage, Gateway, Little Ski Hill and Tamarack. USSA competitions are held in various western ski towns. Freestyle skiers that accumulate the most points in the USASA organization receive invitations to the National USASA Competition held every year at Copper Mountain, Colorado. ISSA has been well represented at the USASA Nationals for many years.
